Leadership Development In Afghanistan

leadership_development-featured

After decades of war, Afghanistan is confronted with many challenges, not the least of which is training future leaders for the new Afghanistan. In Afghanistan political, social, economic, and educational infrastructures must be rebuilt. The men and women who will lead in this challenging endeavor need skills, ideas, and new thinking that will enable them to accomplish this task. The Institute for Leadership Development (ILD) uses a curriculum based on proven leadership principles and the concept of servant leadership to help train the next generation of aspiring leaders.

This week on Leadership Moments I talk with Gary Williams, Owner of GW by Design and Board member of Morning Star Development and a member of Co-Serve International about the challenges of developing leaders in Afghanistan.
